Help with interior ambient lighting?

Can someone help me with the interior ambient lights? I don’t know if it’s a setting or what. My lights will only work in dynamic as I switch through the modes it will stay on for about 3 seconds then they shut off. If I try to manually select a different color under setting they are just off they don’t change. Switch back to dynamic and they are off until I rotate the knob and by the time the screen goes off of what mode you’re in, the lights turn off again. Is this a setting I can’t find or is there something wrong with my ambient lighting. I don’t have any other weird electrical issues that I’ve found so I’m super confused. Can’t find anything online either. Thanks.

I believe they only stay on when your headlights are on. Are you setting during the day?

The issue described has happened to me, but I’ve only noticed a handful of times and also noticed this would happen when I would remote start my TLX-S. At one point, I was driving at night without the ambient lighting inside my vehicle even though my headlights were on - I believe this is a glitch of some sort. On the next startup of my vehicle, the issue solved itself and things were back to normal. I believe what you have experienced is similar to what I experienced but like I said, the issue corrected itself and I haven’t noticed it again even after remote staring my vehicle several times.

The headlight stock on the left side of the steering wheel as an option to select "Off" - that corresponds to the interior lighting.

Next time you're driving at night and have your headlights on, go ahead and rotate (not pull as if you're flashing your high beams) that left stalk towards you and release. If that doesn't fix it, we'll need to try something else. Let us know if that works

Same issue

I am having the same issue with my 21 TLX Tech. Accent lighting barely turns on. Sometimes when the car is inside my garage and I cold start, they'll turn on as they are supposed to. Shut the door and they turn off. I did all of the troubleshooting and tried all of the on screen settings and nothing seems to work. I have a service call scheduled at Acura this Monday so maybe somebody there will have some insights to this. Nobody seems to have a solution.

Has to be a defect, but I’m hopeful once it’s in the service center they will find the root cause. Keep us updated once you know more.

I was having problems with mine. They just didn't work all the time and even when they did, often they would go out during a drive. The issue was moisture accumulating somewhere around the wiring for these. I don't believe it was any kind of leak, more like condensation. They put some grease of some kind over that area and it's been flawless ever since. Though I'm afraid to mess with the settings lol....

More than likely dielectric grease which displaces moisture and commonly used on electrical connectors.
