Interior Lighting On/Off

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn all of the interior lights on/off while sitting inside the car with the doors closed? I was trying to figure this out but had no luck.

Thanks!

when you say turn off all interior lights do you mean the dash as well? if you don't have the key in the car then the dash lights will not light up(of course you probably don't want to do this). the dome lights are set to either 30-60-90 seconds. maybe you have it set to 90. after that time the lights should turn off. but if the key is in the car then the dash lights will stay lit. i assume you want to sit in there and listen to the radio right?

Im just trying to figure out if when your sitting in the car with it running you can turn the interior lights on, ex: door lights and dome lights with a single switch or something, I know you can push the dome lights to have them come on, but I am looking for all of the interior lights to come on at once.

To turn them all on when they are off, there is a little switch between the lights near the mirror. Push the right side of the switch to turn them all on, push the left side to turn them off.

If you want them to turn off immediately when you enter the car, you have a setting on the MID for interior light dimming time, but the minimum setting is 5 seconds and I don't think there is a way to turn them off before the 5 seconds have elapsed.

oops Ron is right the min is 5 secs not 30-60-90 like i said before. i think its 5-15-30. not completely sure. but if you are looking to turn all the lights on and off just use the switch in the middle of the 2 front dome lights.

Is there a way to turn on these same dome lights without having to reach up and flick and switch like gremlin? There should be a way to flip one of the controls near the steering wheel rather than reaching in an odd place to flip a switch. Since the computer can turn them on and off by remote control, then you'd think it would be easier to turn the dome lights on in a 38,000 dollar car.

I never knew flicking dome lights on/off was that hard.

ya and if its dark, then you have to feel around for it and find it. and its not in an easily reachable position especially if your seat is back a ways because your tall.
