I just don't get it...if you are not buying one and has no interest to get one, why so much love by spending days here proving you point! SMH!
It does come across as somewhat obsessive. I think I may have used the 'Yankee fan @ CitiField' analogy a couple of times in acknowledgment of this tendency. Seems pathological in nature.

This some people enjoys the back & forth. I don't love any specific brand have had at least one car from ever major brand sold in the US from Fiat to Porsche. BMW is my flavor of the month next car will be from whatever strikes me as a want at the time I am buying. While BMW is my major DD there are also FORD's, Chevies & a home built in my drive. I am not locked into any brand & loving a brand is just not me.

Different makeup I guess. Guys get hurt when I say something they don't like & take it like I am attacking them. Guys say my latest is a Piggy Wiggly or Bucky Beaver & I say yeah I can see that, but don't feel hurt in the least. I drive what I like because I like it but at the end of the day to personally identify myself with it is not something I would do, its just a car & will be gone when the next flavor of the month comes out.

Looks like the dealer I posted earlier also has a certified used Type S for sale as well.

Interesting CarFax history though.

Guessing sold new by Acura dealer and traded in at BMW dealer.
CarFax's have definitely gone more detailed.

My setting is legs slightly bent to get maximum pressure on the brake & clutch as they straighten & wrists of the top of the wheel. That means in the same car one stick & one AT my standard seating position along the track is not the same.

We need to know how & why they do the official measurement that manufacturers use to compete against each other. Example using the numbers I posted for two real cars Company A measures with the seat 3/4 forward, company B with it half forward & the advertise the result. What does the customer see from that when all they get is the final number from the car companies. So there has to be some SAE standard.

That is why we need to know what the standard for measurement is. From that you would know without going to the car store if the car will suit your needs. If the standard is dead center on the track & you are short you will have more rear seat room, tall less room.
or just look at combined leg room

The Carfax seems to show that the buyer traded the car back to the original dealer. I see nothing about BMW. Am I missing something? There was a guy in the FB TLX-2 group that posted he had traded his car to use the note amount to fund a business expansión. I wonder if this might be his car.

I see now. That auto group is huge. They sell 21 different brands at 34 different locations. Just crazy. I agree that’s quite the interesting journey for that vehicle in less than 5 months.

Oh yeah!!! I think their Honda store sells the most of all the Honda stores in Jersey. (I purchased my old 99 and 07 Accords through them)

Agreed, very interesting journey for a car so young.

Open Road sells a lot of cars. Seems like in the current car market 52k is a pretty good price for barely any miles and a 7yr 100k warranty. Then again they may mark it up higher. They have almost no acura inventory there at all.

Well I am sure that Acura marketing would change it if they could get away with it since they come up short (no pun intended) compared to the other cars based on what they publish as their rear seat measurement 34.9".

As the need recently came up, I'm researching mid-size pickups and came across SG's Honda Ridgeline review when they gave me a good @ 9:30 (note: related topic):

My brother has owned 2 Nissan Frontier trucks over the years (and likes them). His current is a 2002 4x4 V6 model. He is also looking again.

IIRC, Honda's is built like an El-Camino, while the Frontier is built like a truck. Pretty sure Toyotas are also built truck-like.
