2021 TLX Lease offer?

2021 TLX Lease offer?
Folks,
Now that Acura has released a lease offer for the 2021 TLX ($369 in my zip code), I'd love your opinions? Can that be negotiated with the dealer? If I choose to roll the down payment ($3899) into the monthly, is the dealers offer likely to reflect a better price (I know it has to be about $100 more a month), do you think the "2021 TLX Bridge Program" can be applied over this offer, and finally, is the opening offer from Acura likely to be lowered if I wait a month or two?
Thanks for all the input.

That amount however, is to high for me to justify
What package is that?
Don’t go by what the website says. The dealers give better deals. The car is brand new right now though so I don’t see anything special being offered.

I recall that when I got a previous TLX , nor sure if it was 2015 or 2018, I read that with a newly designed car, Acura wanted them to be seen with some frequency on the road so the early offer was made a bit more attractive. There is an interesting question as to whether the corporate offers are better then the local dealer. As I have little love for the local dealer, I was hoping to learn that the corporate was superior.. Guess i have to see what the local guy offers. BTW, this corporate offer expires Nov. 2. Looking for thoughts as to whether these first offers typically go up or down. I have no b=need to be the first guy in my neighborhood with a new model.
Thanks.
Thanks.

They offered me 9K for my 2013 with 86k miles at the time. Had I known the payments were that cheap I'd do it. I'm interested in financing rather than leasing.

It's a lease. The whole point is to pay NOTHING up front.
Not play the shell game.

Come on, don't blame Honda here, the lease game and the car buying game is played like this by every car manufacture not just Honda, Acura, jeezze.
Look at every single car manufactures lease programs, all the same. its all based off of monthly and you down payment.

Of course, it is all about marketing to present a lower price.... But the ad even makes that offer at the discretion of the dealer. The ad says "Dealer participation may affect actual payment. Dealer sets actual sales prices."
But with this new 2021 TLX, either the opening offer is lower than it will be in a couple of months to get more on the road to generate interest or higher than it will be in a couple of months to take advantage the an eager to buy the new model public. My guess is that it be lower in a few months. Any thoughts?
Thanks

I can’t believe in this day and age we still have this conversation. A lease work because you pay the estimated depreciation of the vehicle (and possibly sales tax) over the term of the lease. The numbers you look at are MPRP, Residual Value, and the money factor.
You need to go in prepared to negotiate. Residual value is one they normally don’t budge on.

Right, cap cost, negotiating this is the key.
Then make sure u know the money factor and the incentives if any.
It’s best to let the hype wear off. By 2021 the hype will be off this car and the type S hype will begin and then the Aspec etc will have more compelling lease deals.

Looks like theyre already giving $1900 lease incentive and $1000 for loyalty. But the mf is .0025 or 5.4% which i belieive is too damn high for a sedan. Even the rdx is at 5.4%. The euro counterparts and even lexus have lower mf at 2 to 3%. Acura is freakin nuts, i must say...

Unfortunately, it's still far more expensive than the outgoing model.
The Acura TLX is all-new for 2021, and early indications suggest it's an improvement over the outgoing model in nearly every way. It's also more expensive, at least in terms of entry-level trim, and not just by a few bucks either. Perhaps that's why Acura is already offering some modest incentives for its fresh sports sedan. That said, a new report from Cars Direct shows it's still quite pricey even with the discount, and it only applies to lease customers. The crux of the deal includes $1,900 in lease cash, with an additional $1,000 bonus for returning Acura customers or shoppers defecting from other brands. Add them up, and it's a maximum discount of $2,900 but only if you want to lease a TLX. For those making a purchase, Acura will still pony up the $1,000 discount and pair it with 1.9-percent financing.

74 PhotosUnfortunately, current TLX leasing isn't exactly stellar. The report states a base model TLX leases for $399 per month with $3,999 down and a mileage limit of 10,000 miles per year, for three years. When the down payment is added to the total payments, you get an effective monthly payment of $510. The maximum lease discount only lowers the monthly payment to $369 with just $100 less due at signing. That combines for an effective monthly payment of $477, and as the report points out, the total TLX lease payout is nearly the same as a 2020 MDX which has a considerably higher MSRP.
Our Take On TLX: 2021 Acura TLX First Drive Review: Making Strides Toward Excellence
The 2021 Acura TLX Is A Rolling Concert Venue For 2021, the base model TLX gains a new engine that's nearly as powerful as the now-discontinued TLX V6. In essence, Acura has basically eliminated lower-performance variants from the TLX line, but the result is a $4,500 year-over-year price increase. Indeed, Cars Direct reports that 2020 TLX three-year lease deals are still available at $299 per month, with a $2,999 down payment.

More power under the hood comes with more space inside, a cleaner cockpit that's more luxurious, and a platform that's both more refined and more exhilarating to drive. Whether or not buyers respond to the upgraded TLX and its upgraded price, only time will tell.

That's nowhere near that "$369" number.
So... you come on.

Dealer got back to me with offer... As a previous Acura lease holder, to get the $369, I need to put down about $4500... To have most (all?) of that rolled into the monthly, it goes up to $488... Base TLX with10,000 miles... Not sure how real... this was based on email exchange. When I'm ready I need to see if these numbers hold.

Oh Come on here. Do some homework it’s all math, like I said use MF and the cap cost, your negotiated final sale price and the cars residual.this isn’t going to net 800/ they are being disingenuous.
Use the incentives currently offered if any and if your moving up to the Aspec model add accordingly or subtract out etc.
Do the math or use the lease calculator online and punch in these numbers.
example:
SRP: $47,775.00
Discount: $2000
Selling Price: $45,275.00
Acura TLX loyalty: $1,000.00
Money Factor: 0.00225 or 5.4%
Residual: 0.62
Acquisition Fee: $595.00
Doc Fee: $397.50

Just extended current lease as I'm under mileage limit (I'm an old fart who doesn't go anywhere anyway during this pandemic) and hope the numbers look better toward the end of the year, though I doubt they will move that much. Guess that will depend on early sales numbers.

I took delivery of a 2021 TLX Advance SH-AWD in phantom violet pearl, with ebony interior. I leased it. It was the first 2021 TLX delivered on Long Island, NY, so I didn't expect many discounts. My lease on my 2018 TLX Advance was expiring, so I went forward. I received standard $1,000 Acura Loyalty discount, $1,900 Acura lease discount, plus a $750 Costco discount (Costco Auto had not posted any formal discounts for the new model yet, but dealer called them). I wound up paying $3400 up front including $2000+ sales tax, first month's payment, and various DMV fees. I rolled over 15,000 unused miles from my 2018 so I took 7,500 mi/yr option. Monthly payments will be $609. Acura Finance lease rate is 5.4% (MF= .00225), HIGH, but not negotiable)

Congrats on the car-Phantom Violet Pearl looks like an outstanding color. Please report your driving impressions as well.
Since it has just been introduced I guess Acura is trying the 5.4% interest rate but in the current economic environment is way too high and not competitive in my opinion. Surely it will come down or else they will lose many potential lease customers.

So far driving is very good. (I'm not trying for the 0-60 record. Smoother, better handling, better ACC than 2-18 TLX Advance. Still getting used to the controls/interface, but I really like the HUD.
I imagine the rate will come down after a few months...

That's some detailed info on your lease-deal, so that should help others compare/evaluate their lease-deals ... thanks.
However, unless I missed it ... I did not see posted how many months the new lease is for and what is end-of-lease buy-out amount?
