It's nice to see that the Aspec is being built now, rather than next year.

 

I'm ready for them to put the Build & Price feature on Acura's website. Would really like to see what kinds of options there are outside of the 4 package levels (i.e. wheels, etc.). On sale 9/28, anyone know historically when to expect that relative to the 9/28 date?

 

There is a thread on the RDX site indicating the build and price feature went live one day before the on sale date in 2018.

 

Do we have a ground clearance spec yet? That's a metric I need due to road conditions in my area. I dont want to hit curbs and bottom out. Most sedans have historically had mid 5" ground clearance (5.3 - 5.8"). What is this new TLX?

 

maybe a sport sedan isnt for you if you're worried about ground clearance.

 

Low to mid 5" is fine, like the previous TLX. But sports cars and some modern sport sedans are in mid 4" or lower. That 1" makes a BIG difference where I live.

Yeah, I got called-out for mentioning speed-bumps the other day.

 

FWIW or not. My COBRA is a coil over suspension & fully adjustable for ground clearance. Practical experience starting out at 3-3/4" & slowly moving up to 4".

4" will clear 99%+ of all speed bumps 3-7/8' will not

 

As per spec sheet, ground clearance is 5.3".
