I recently purchased a 2021 TLX Advance and have a Samsung S20+. I was researching Wireless Android Auto and found indications that the only Acura with that capability is the 2021 or 2022 MDX! Reading further I found articles mentioning Wireless Android Auto is being included, on 5G, in the latest release of Android 11. Has anyone connected Android wirelessly or even know if it is connectivity is possilble!?!? If so can you help with instructions on how to enable it?

It is unfortunate that Acura and many other makers have been far to slow and late with wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. I believe even the 22 Lexus NX only has wireless Carply and still needs a cable for Android.

 

I can confirm that, I went to the dealership and asked and test drove the New Type S. It doesn't have WAA

At present, there are relatively few cars has factory wireless carplay and wireless android auto. Their technology in this area is not yet mature, but I believe this will be standard in the near future.

 

My 2021 Audi-A5 has Wireless-CarPlay and it works fine. Most (if not all) 2022 Audi's have it also.

 

My 2022 Tesla Model Y does not, nor does my CTR. Teslas do not have it in any of their models.

 

If I can get WIRED Android Auto, I will be happy. I know it is a setting on my phone since it works wirelessly in the Integra.
