Has anyone lowered their TLX yet?

Just wondering if anyone has lowered their TLX so far. I'm thinking of getting aftermarket 19" wheels for after the winter but I would want to lower the car as well to have a more integrated look.

If anyone has done it or know of any vendors who have a ready solution for this, please let me know. Perhaps one of the forum sponsors could also chime in?

Thanks.

I just pictured a guy walking into a mall and seeing the help kiosk in the corner.
Then he sits down next to the kiosk with a sign that says "Help me find the Starbucks."

Right above the section you posted in for the TLX there is a Wheels and Suspension thread. A couple TLX owners have lowered their car already. Another user stated Accord springs will wrok on a specific trim model.

Check there and good luck.

P.S. And the obvious; try searching more next time.

Haha. Thanks for the "help". I did check that part of the forum. There's hardly any useful info there. Who in their right mind would put Accord parts on anything? I'm asking about Ohlins and Bilsteins and at the very least H&Rs.

This site is really getting worse every year.

The TL was based off the Accord. If the springs are similar, spring rate and all, then there is no harm using them.
Most companies are going to look at those exact parts and when they see they fit they just add that car to their site.

Look at H&R for the Civic VS ILX. Same springs. Literally. Same exact springs.
TLX and Accord are going to be similar as well. Hence the springs working just fine.
Now Eibach will soon advertise the TLX springs without changing anything.

Chan_Mike has lowered the TLX his is working on and posted more than one thread about the suspension.

As well there is another user floating around that dropped their TLX on air suspension.

Is that enough hand holding?

Don't need your hand holding. Just wanted to hear from people with a TLX who's lowered their car. Just step away.

This is supposedly the worlds first lowered TLX and the only one I could find. It appears that he had it lowered at Elite Roads in Fort Lauderdale. I don't know anything else about it, here is a link to the guys Instagram. Hope it helps! Instagram

And I am showing you two threads where people have already lowered the car and mentioning a third. Don't sit here and expect people to visit your thread and hold your hand. Go find those three threads and ask the owners yourself.

As for the the white TLX posted, he claims he is the first STAGGERED TLX. LOL People will claim they are the first anything now a days. +100 street cred I'm sure to have a pointlessly staggered FWD car. What an idiot. If you like the look than awesome. But bragging about something that pointless is stupid.

As well, Chan_Mike was staggered at least a month before he was. He can claim Chan_Mike wasn't but the front specs were not as aggressive as the rear. There for it was staggered before he was.
