My 2018 TLX has scratch marks on the windshield from the blades, I’ve encountered this problem on my ILX which was worse than now, now it’s not too bad but I hope it doesn’t get worse. Is this a Honda thing making crappy windshields?

You must've had something on your wiper blades to cause those scratches. I've never had that issue.

The previous owner didn't take care of wiper blades and the metal scratched the glass windshield.

Only common when people don't take care of the car's needs

If you haven't already done so, you should replace the blades with new ones. I recommend BOSCH Icon blades - they work better than the OEM blades and should last at least 2 seasons.

I'm guessing the blade inserts were pretty worn out, so sounds like the metal was exposed and scratched your windshield. Shame cause that's a couple dollar fix from the dealer and it would've been nice for them to have changed it.

Also, these scratches can be polished.

Ive found that wiping down the blades every month or so with a cloth and wd40 helps remove all the grit & grime, helps keep the blades from hardening also.
