Hi,

I have a 2018 TLX with red interior. The panels on the doors are starting to bubble and ripple. (red interior pieces). They have been replaced once already by Acura Canada but the dealer states that the panels are made poorly. Have others seen this issue on their panels?

What do you mean by "bubble and ripple"? Do you have pics?

On another note my auto high beam light doesn’t always work? Sometimes in the dark it’s there other times it won’t come on even though it’s pitch black? Any ideas.

 

oof, that does not look nice at all! Perhaps the supplier made a bad batch and there's going to be a TSB soon. Tell the dealer and send photos to acura client services because you aren't going to be the only one with this issue.

 

Believe it or not that are the replacements that Acura cs gave me. The old batch looked way worse. I did get one of the first red tlx’s that Canada got in the elite package. Ordered the day they were announced in may and received in august. Main thing is dealer said they will replace and parts have been ordered. Also the D button on transmission is being replaced due to the D paint coming off.
