Dust on dash

I have a TLX SHAWD Advance w/black interior. I would like to find a product that would keep away dust from the dash.

Home made dust repellant:

Ingredients:
• 1 part liquid fabric softener
• 4 parts water
Directions:
Mix together and put in spray bottle. Spray onto a cloth and dust away!

It works for furniture, not sure it'd be good for a car's dash. I really don't know a way to keep dust away. I just use my mini California duster to take it off

wrap yourself in a bubble and dont ever open your doors.

dust = pollen, plant particles, dead skin cells, hair follicles, etc. etc.

smartass aside; maintain your dash by wiping it down with a dry microfiber cloth every week. you cant repel dust from the dash, ever. the only thing you can do is maintain it.

I keep a small static duster in the door pocket. Works great on the dash and can also get in between the vents and buttons.

Keep it off = not going to happen. Get yourself a good set of detail rags/wipes some detail products and a small static duster and just wipe often.

I have never thinkered on dust yet. But, if you have food particles inside, get your dog and put him inside for 15 mins. It'll work like a charm!

But then you have to deal with hair and fleas. It never ends.

I feel your pain, and wouldn't we all like to find a magic cure for dust?

I keep a few Swiffer Dusters in the trunk and give it a little cleaning when the need arises. They are like dust magnets, I'm really impressed with how well they work.

I use a mini California duster and it works great. The dust on a black interior is never ending.

I have found the Aerospace 303 Protectant applied to the dash does not attract dust like some other products (Amor All, etc). It will not prevent dust completely but other products seem to attract and hold dust. When applied correctly, it has the added advantage of not being very shiny and the finish seems to dull over time.

For the dust that does come, I keep a Swiffer 360 duster. It folds up conveniently and can be kept in the glove compartment.

My pet peeve areas are the panel below the upper screen and the steering column...I have to dust those with the Swiffer everyday.
