My 2015 Acura TLX 2.4L doesn’t start. The headlights and the interior lights are bright in accessory mode before starting the car. When I push the start button to crank the car, the headlights go off and a whirring sound (I think) can be heard. The sound doesn’t go off until I press the start/stop button again.

Definitely a weak battery. Time for a new one.

 

Get that battery changed and you'll be ok. My car did the same thing with weak starts.

 

Definitely the battery. I’m surprised it lasted this long...mine went out right at the 2.5 year mark which was pretty good by Honda/Acura standards.

 

My battery is 3 years old and still going strong.
