So I have a '18 TLX with about 6 month left in factory warranty. I bought the car from a Subaru dealership just 4 days ago.

3 days after, I find that my car is flaking/chipping paint from rear driver side door near the window.

Is this covered or do I have to come outta pocket for a fix?

 

I have the same issue on my 18 A-Spec in Still Night Blue Pearl except it's between my roof and back window. I will be going to my Acura dealer to fight it and so should you. The more people that report it the more we have a chance for an extended warranty.

Note that the 2018 Accord has a recall for the same issue.
