Cracks in paint near rear side window
Have any of you experienced this? I have a few hairline paint "cracks" in the the paint that are forming on the driver-side rear door just under the window. I first thought it was a water spot (we've had a bit of rain around these parts lately) but after trying to clean it off I noticed it's actually a paint defect. I'm already going to be taking it to the dealer tomorrow to have some door dings fixed but I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this anywhere in their paint.
To be more descriptive: it's not a straight-edge crack. More like an uneven randomly shaped crack. Looked a lot like half of a water spot at first. The crack is so light it's almost like it might just be the clear coat and not all the way through the paint. It's right on the edge just past where the outer window molding is and where the sheet metal turns down.
