Pulled the trigger

Decided to finally make it happen. So far everything is great, minus a few minor things here n there, but not enough for me to trip out about. White looked really sweet but ended up going with Black ext w/ black int. Scheduled for a 28% tint soon, and possibly go add the factory kit & deck spoiler...a few pics below taken from my phone after the purchase.

V6 SH-AWD Tech.

Gotta love the black when it's clean (unfortunately, it's not that often ).

I had the factory body kit and spoiler installed before I took delivery, and I love the way it looks. I personally don't think it looks "tacked on" and I like the way it adds some aggressiveness to the car.

Enjoy, and add 1 to the CBP family!

P.S. The white is a really beautiful color as well and it looks amazing with the body kit.

Beautiful car and very professional looking shots! The low angle is a nice touch.

You will love this car more each day. Especially if you maintain perspective on whatever minor concerns you may have.

Happy motoring!

kongx7....Congrats! I think you made the right decision with the TLX. I am hoping to get one in my driveway in the future...likely at MMC. Exterior styling wise, it is still one of my favorite car on the road - If only Acura would have been a bit quicker in solving the tranny issues, as this is the only thing that had me worried.

Agreed. I was hoping i can wait another year or two as well for that same issue. But my other car isn't going to last so i just had to do it now. My TLX was manufactured in December 2014. So far no tranny issues yet, about 800 miles in. Fingers are crossed that nothing bad will happen.

Not to derail, but is it safe to assume that the later batches (current) of the 2015 model TLX are less prompt to have the tranny issues?

^^ I would be agreeing with you. The problem with me is that I had placed the order on the IS well before the software update was announced so it was too late for me.

If I were in the market now, I wouldn't be as worried.

Finally a short break from the rainy weather that's been of Colorado for the past month.
Took advantage of it today while I had the chance to before more rain.....removed the dealership sticker on the trunk. Washed and applied some IronX to the paint then rinsed. Applied some 22ple VX Pro 2 to help protect the paint.
I'm loving this car!

what tranny issues?

I think the internet has it very bad. I commented some time ago in youtube and there's this guy that said the same thing, and worst a class action suit. meh..

To be honest though, a DCT will not drive as smooth as traditional automatics.. period.

No land cruiser. But plan to do another detail job before winter time and keep up with washing the car after snow storms.

Nothing like a shiny clean black car. Been a bit since I posted new pics. Just applied some CarPro Reload over the weekend and so far the Reload is working just as advertised.

Hoping to take some more pictures soon but it keeps raining!
