Worth to upgrade sound system?

New '17 TLX BWP owner here.
it's the base one but I LOVE!!
anyways, i used to drive a manual '12 SE Fiesta, and I feel like the sound system on my previous car was better.
I don't need to rattle the whole neighborhood, just want a nicer sound.
if i were to add a subwoffer would it help?
would it be better to just replace all the speakers and add an amp?

Do you have the ELS system or base system? I heard ELS on 2015 TLX and thought it was very good. Much better than anything offered on higher trim Accords. The only thing lacking with ELS is if you like it really loud and want deep powerful bass. I haven't heard 2017-2020 ELS. I hope they didn't mess with a good thing.

^X2. Toss a Sub and Monoblock in there. Go big. This thing rattles everywhere.
