Installed a BlackVue DR 750S-2CH IR
After watching several videos on the events dash cams captured, I got hooked and decided I needed to have one of my own. I researched several different options on Blackboxmycar.com and decided a BlackVue camera was the way to go. I like the design similarities of their cameras, allowing them to use the same mounts. Originally I ordered the BlackVue DR590W-2CH IR but after watching clips from the 30fps vs 60fps, I decided to upgrade to the 750S-2CH IR before I even received the 590. Because I wanted a very discreet setup, I purchased a Blendmount BlackVue holder to avoid mounting directly on the windshield. I wired the unit up using the Power Magic Pro hardwiring kit and enabled parking mode so that I can record events while the vehicle is parked. Mounting the rear facing camera was challenging because of the headliner design but after trying a couple different options I decided to mount it at the top of the windshield to the right of the lane keep assist/auto windshield auto housing. I used blackout stickers to cover all the script on cameras to make it more discreet. I'm extremely happy with the BlackVue setup as the video quality is terrific along with a great app to go with it. I also hardwired my Escort radar while i was at it. I'm going to add some expandable braided sleeving go make the setup a little cleaner.

For your "Power Magic Pro", what switch do you use? Please see picture. Thanks

I didn’t tap a fuse for the Escort, I hardwired it into the rear view mirror auto dimming wire harness. Two less wires to run to the fuse box.
I plan to buy and install in my wife 2017 MDX. I already had GOLUK T3 but that thing seem like it's missing days when view.

I used the 12V setting with the infinity recording setting. Initially I used the 12.5V setting but after reading more about the required startup voltage, I felt confident changing it to a 12V cut off.

Kewl thank you. another stupid question. Is there a reason why you and other getting a 2-ch (front & rear)? For accident purpose, if someone hit on the rear, it's a guarantee it's their fault. Or the rear cam used if someone backout and hit your car or use it as a "almost" 360 degree viewing?
I'm still decide the purpose of y getting a rear cam.
So this is your setting: 1 up, 2,3,4,5 down = 12V and Infinity recording

I wanted to be able to record the interior of the vehicle as well as the rear of the vehicle. While none of my vehicles have ever been broken into, *knock on wood, I wanted to have as much coverage as possible with 2 cameras. The IR inside camera captures great quality video even in complete darkness. As far as my current settings, that's correct. Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be happy to help.

Last weekend a lady backed into my car and didn't even get out of her car to check the damage that she had done. Watching the video she was either a really bad driver or drunk because she hit my car with her front door/driver's side fender when backing into the space and over steering. Had it not been for my Blackvue dash camera with parking mode enabled, I would have had to file the hit and run on my insurance to have it repaired. The Blackvue captured her license plate clearly and I was able to provide it to the responding officer who then provided me with an accident report with all her insurance information to file a claim. I've already gotten the repairs scheduled and the estimate is around $3000.
Damage done.
Here's where she struck my car.
Her license plate.

+1 for Blackvue. I only have the front facing camera, but that's good enough for me I think. Pricey units, but they could eventually pay for themselves. Haven't gotten hit or anything so far *knock on wood*
