I found the only way to pause a CD was to hit the power button. Hit it again, and it starts back up, but doesn't that seem a little odd?

 

Use the touch screen or voice command.

 

The only voice commands I have are:
Disc play
Disc play track # (#: 1 to 30) Disc skip forward
Disc skip back
Disc track random*1
Disc track repeat*1
Disc track scan*1
Disc folder up
Disc folder down
Disc folder random*1
Disc folder repeat*1
Disc folder scan*1
Disc normal play


No Pause, alas. Unless play is a toggle

 

have you tried using play as a toggle?

 

Oh, sorry. There is iPod, Bluetooth, Pandora, and Aha Pause, so I assume there was one for CD as well. You could also switch sources which would effectively pause the CD>
