Out of curiosity, any way to get messages or notifications from specific apps to show up in the car via BT?

I don't want this to turn into a phone brand war...just wondering if there are any tricks for either iOS or Android users....

 

To my knowledge (iPhone user), it is not possible from specific apps installed on your phone. You can only get notifications (+ read out) from text messages (native text message app on your phone, like iMessage) or emails (also from the native email app on your phone).

If you have an iPhone, make sure that you enable "Show Notifications" in the BT connection and then you can select between text messages and email from the TLX setup menu.

 

Likewise on Android. Regular text message readout works fine but I haven't found any other apps that work to notify.
