Acuralink navigation App
Just found out you can purchase Acuralink navigation app from Apple Store and display on the screen with use of HDMI and IPhone power cable. So you use touch screen for navigation which is much cheaper to upgrade to trim wth navigation if that is the only thing you want. App cost $70.00 good deal

I have the 2.4 with Tech package. In the center armrest, there is only a 12V and and AUX plug.
In the center forward section under the cell phone tray, there is a USB port.
No HDMI. Sure you're not referring to the USB?
Do you have a pic of the connection you could post please?

Randy is the Future
This is for the ILX only. It's not needed on the TLX cause the next trim level after a base is the tech which comes with Navi. They may add it later on in future models. Civics, Cr-vs and Fits have this feature already.

I would tend to agree here. I don't think the TLX has (in any trim level or country) the HDMI port. I saw that on a post somewhere that the ILX will have HDMI connectivity and it may allow owners some added features, but not available yet on the TLX.

hey guys i just found this thread. i'm sure some of you are following Navtool's posts.
i found that my TLX has HDMI support installed in the software. you can confirm it too by going into diag and the developer mode.
also because some ILX owners found out how to bypass acuralink using a jailbroken iphone i'm attempting to acquire the oem HDMI parts to replicate both the acuralink navigation and the jb mirroring.

Can you get me to the thread where we can get into diag and dev mode? I've been following your other thread but couldn't find it.

Go to Diag mode in your radio: Back + Menu + Audio (or Nav)
Press and hold Enter for 3 seconds to go to Developer Mode
Scroll down until you find "HDMI Diag" do not select it.
Just confirm it's there.
But if you do select it both your screens will go blank. No need to freak out. Just restart the car.
The details come form an ILX thread but it wasn't well arranged there

Also you have to enable App Mode somewhere in there. That allows the App Mode option to show up in the Menu. It will be grayed out until you plug the phone to the USB port. Once you select it it will tell you the HDMI is needed - just like the unicorn TLX photos that's been floating around with the HDMI screen.
