2018 TLX: Both FOBs register as Driver 2

Hello... just picked up my brand new 2018 TLX and noticed that both 2-way wireless remotes come up as Driver 2. I've never had both FOBs in the car at the same time, other than when it was picked up a few days ago. Since then, I've locked/unlocked doors, remote started the vehicle, with the Driver 1 FOB which always shows up as Driver 2 in the MID and the Nav display.

Is this something I can fix myself with some guidance or is my dealer likely the only one that can reprogram the FOB.

Any help is much appreciated.

Congrats on the TLX. Maybe you just need to set the settings for driver 1. Maybe only driver 2 is programmed.

Thx! Fantastic car Tried that several times. Finally called the dealer and they told me to come in. Looks like keyfobs were incorrectly programmed.

It's most likely in the owner manual how to reprogram to Driver 1 Fob

assigning driver 1 and driver 2 to a remote can only be done by the dealer.

Apparently a defective chip in the Driver 1 keyfob. New one was ordered from Acura.
