Looking at a 2015 TLX to purchase. Owner claims it has the Tech Package. I used the Acurazine VIN decoder but I don't see any of the Tech pkg items like Rain sensing wipers, lane keep assist, front collision warning, pedestrian warning, etc.

Actually I'm not entirely sure what the official Tech pkg for a 2015 TLX would be. Trying to gather info fast so I can make a decision on this car.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So ask the seller, does it have navigation...blind spot....lane keeping assist...etc. He should know if it has those features. Or have him snap a photo of the center console and see if the NAV button is to the left of the phone button.

 

Sounds good. I think those items you mentioned should be enough to determine.

The seller sounds kinda cranky, it's his wifes car and I don't think he wants to spend any time trying to sell the car.

The fact that the starting price was 29K, and this car was priced at 31K tells me that it's likely a base, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

 

It's a base without the tech package. If you have an owners.acura.com account you can go to add vehicles and input any Acura VIN number and it will give you the cars as built configuration. If it was a tech it would clearly state it. Here's the details:
