Hey all,

So I am going to be picking up a v6 base model TLX shortly.. Trading in my leased 2012 TSX in exchange.

My question is this.. I added an aftermarket sub to my tsx but was wondering how much side to side room there is right behind the back seat in the TLX. Reason being my sub box is 28" wide and I am only going to install the box for two 12" subs if it will fit flush against the back of the back seat. Otherwise, I will just add one twelve to that area. I really don't want to lose too much trunk room if possible.

Anyone who could measure that for me would be a hero in my eyes, lol. Thanks in advance everyone and can't wait to get in a TLX soon!!

 

At it's thinnest, I got 31".
But the trunk tapers inwards as you move up from the floor to the rear dash.
Your box should fit.

 

Sensei thank you VERY MUCH for doing this! I will post a thread about how to wire up subs to the factory head unit as well.. Just in case anyone here wants to undertake the project. It should be fun!!
