Really? Wow they just came out, no one has tried that yet. But I wouldn't think it would be easy. I'm thinking you would basically have to rebuild the entire car.

I think for now most would be satisfied with an additional 30-40 horsepower if anything. I think 1200 HP would be just way too much, but I would LOVE to see a 450+ HP Sh AWD, to compete with AMG and M

Ummm...I'm no automotive engineer but regarding the answer to how easy it is to make a 1200hp TLX? Probably not easy...at all.

Besides completely building the motor and trans and possibly strengthening any frame/subframes parts....I don't even know what else you need to do to make that much power out of a TLX.

Might be cheaper/faster to just get a used GT-R and get the Alpha 10 package.

I'd "LOVE" to see a 708+ hp RLX SH-AWD rival the Charger Hellcat.

Brakes.

Most importantly, you'll need some massive hulking brakes to slow down the 1200hp car.

What asinine shit is this? The stock TLX motor would NEVER make anything even remotely close to that, not to mention all the other components not being able to hold it. Pour a shit ton of money into to and I mean supercar money and maybe you'll have something barely reliable.

Its a troll, this guy claimed a year or so ago that the TL SH-AWD made about 420 HP at the crank, not the 305 claimed by Acura. This threat should be locked

Last year some kid told me it's closer to 420 hp. I wanted to publish the thread on AZ just to see people's reactions.

Go to the Acurazine racing section & look how hard/expensive it is to get 30/40 more horsepower.

Not a chance

In my opinion ,There is no chance in getting it close to that amount of hp, to rebuilt the entire car would allow to add not more than around 150hp

Why 1200hp, so it can just spins tires and have no traction?! Why not 1500.... Lol

The Acura TLX GT Race car with V6 twin turbos and AWD makes less than 600 and it is competing in the World-class GT-3.

Wing spoiler and thousand decals should give you closer to 1500 hp. 1 decal = 1 hp gain
