How do you make the heated seats turn on with remote start?

With the extremely cold weather in New England recently, I was hoping the heated seats would be turned on when remote start is engaged.
Sometimes this happens and sometimes the heated driver seat has not started upon using remote start. It seems to work sometimes, but not all the time, regardless of the very cold weather or whether or not I have the heated seat turned on before I power the car off the evening before starting it again in the morning. Also, I would hope that the cooled seats would be turned on when using remote start in the Summer. Any information would be greatly appreciated; thanks.

You might want to take look at this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/problem...-issue-923943/

I really wasn't aware that the system engaged ventilation/heating during remote start. The other link is to an owner who is having problems getting the heating to turn on even when pressing the button. I'm going to do some more experimentation.
You might want to try setting the climate control to MAX HI before turning it off at night, maybe? To me that would seem to be the setting most likely to turn them on if they're functioning during remote start as you indicate.

One thing that I've noticed is that the seats are pressure sensitive (at least on the passenger side). If no one's riding over there, my seat could be heating, but the passenger one remains off. Makes sense really. Why not do some testing and report back?

I m o, for me in the New York city and tri state area every time that I use the remote start the heater is blowing full force, and depending how cold it is, the heated seats come both sides with at least two bars, sometime 3

The seat heater may have been turned on, but the display is not active until you actually press the Start/Stop button so how do you know it is 2 or 3 bars? Yes, after it has booted the display will show the bars active at that point, but not when it was remote started. What about the passenger seat if there is no passenger seated?

It's been my experience that the passenger seat remains off unless there's a passenger there. I've bumped the temp up enough in AUTO mode to cause the seat heater to self engage on my commute, but the passenger seat always indicates it's off, thus far.

See multiple subject threads under "problems and fixes" on same issue.
Call Acura Client Relations and demand a fix. Good luck. You are not alone.

I have noticed in my advance paws TLX, when you have the remote start
Engaged if there is no passenger, the heated seat is definitely off, drivers seat could go all the way to the highest setting depending on how cold it is.

Easy...put a backpack fill with textbooks and leave it on the seat before you leave the car. You next remote start should have the heated seat ready. hahahaha!
