My friend bimmer has it and it's super useful , unfortunately in USA Acura only has it on rlx sh-awd but in Asia I think it comes standard. Can the part from rlx be added to tlx, would it work?

It's only in advance sport hybrid, I hear the new rlx no loner have the antique CD player, what are u gonna do?

I sure don't understand Acura's package choices. HUD only on that package ...

 

Acura sometimes just baffles me, 65k on its flagship just has ventilated seats. My friends 30k fusion has cooled seats , they feel so much better. Just like you this will probably be my last Acura . Although no way I am getting Hyundai they depreciate like crazy.

 

Yes, I thought the Advance should have every option except the SH-AWD.. the hybrid warrant being the only model to have HUD makes zero sense. There were no Sport Hybrids within a 1000 miles of me when I was offered the deal. So only the rarest of the rare versions has HUD.

I'll have to wait and see what cars are like in a couple of years.. maybe go back to American.. who knows

 

I figure they may put the HUD in a few years in the TLX once it trickles down the lineup. Right now the advance pkg has "heads up warning" with the CMBS that flashes lights on the windshield when it tells you to brake also so Acura is only 1 step behind on the TLX.

 

I found HUD device sold on ebay, I think it costs only 50$.
May give it a try.

seems to take a lot of area, the BMw one was very subtle. Also installtion seems to be PIA.

 

Not to digress, the RLX Sport Hybrid is a very advanced drivetrain with excellent fuel economy and more power than a comparably equipped 2016 BW 535. In Canada, I would pay about 15k more for the 2016 BMW 535i X drive, including a 4K Acura incentive.

It may not have the badging, but it is technically equal or superior in many respects. Kinda like an artsy film that draws rave reviews from the critics but lacks popular appeal.
People don't want to spend $65K (Canada) for an Acura Sedan, but would pay the extra 15K for the BMW. For me, "I don't need no stinking badges"…...
