Got a Quote on 2018 TLX (CANADA)
#81
Just a random update I just got a price on a 330 xdrive with m sport, navi back up sensors, camera and red interior for $570/month tax in $0 down. I think its way better value than the TLX. What do you guys think?

It says on the Build and Price tab on Acura Canada website:
Asking way too much in my opinion. Crossed it off my list... at $60K you have soo many better options. Many new cars need to be priced much lower in Canada... If I am spending $60K on a TLX, I can just put $6K more and get the G80 Sport

^ 1000$ rebate, that's new to me. Had no deals when I went last month. Only thing I got was $1500 off for my current lease of 7 months remaining (2 free months...joy). I still can't justify the price for what it is. Really happy for people who enjoy it, but a lot of choices will soon come if budget can be extended by just a little bit.

Offered 284.xx bi-weekly 48 month lease $0 down 24k yr on 2018 V6 A-spec Tech. This also includes them paying off my old car which Has about $2,500 negative equity. For what it's worth I believe this is a good deal, how good I am not sure. There is a bit of a history here with the dealership in terms of non-disclosure of previous vehicle we purchased in regards to declarations of over $2,000 and being accident free so I am not entirely sure if that helped secure this deal and to what extent it did anything positive to it.

My Acura dealer quote about 760 for an A-spec... ridiculous after our pain with 2015 .

Honestly, I have 3 things stopping me from just getting a new car and letting my TLX rot in my garage until February:
- Losing a ton of money letting car lease and insurance investment go to waste. Buying car and selling it is not an option, worth nothing in the used market.
- Waiting for Stinger GT to hit the market, patiently looking before doing more test drives.
- Saving up for an Audi S5 SB, luckily I have full permission from my girlfriend after her seeing Acura's treatment. I have no problems paying more, really want to for true luxury and performance but certainly not to Acura right now.

Cash price for the A spec V6 in Ontario is $55006 out of door. I haven't seen one on the road yet, IMO the price is a definite factor here and it's too much money.

I will wait for the G70 and Stinger to arrive like user pyrodan007 said. Honestly, for a buyer spending almost $60K for the top trim of TLX and then finding out he's got a lemon (i.e. ZF 9 fiasco) is unpleasant. Cars are unjustly ridiculously priced at times in Canada. Though, I have a feeling the Stinger will be close to the pricing of G80 here and may rule it out... :/
I test drove the Kia Cadenza the other day (I shortlisted the Cadenza, TLX, G80 and Avalon [for my business use]). Honestly, the car is no way sportier like the TLX [keeping the definition of sporty very loose lol] but the refinement of the Cadenza poops on the TLX and I was ready to sacrifice AWD and give the Cadenza an opportunity. For Out the door price of $43K -- this is without the bargain they were willing to offer me, even in price the cadenza is beating the tlx

2017 Kia Cadenza Test ? Review ? Car and Driver
Despite having 290hp, Its straight line performance is more in line with the TLX 4-banger:
0-60mph: 6.7s vs 6.8s
5-60mph street start: 7.4s vs 7.3s
1/4 mile trap speed: 95mph vs 93mph
The TLX V6 which also has 290hp does the above much quicker:
0-60mph: 5.7s
5-60mph street start: 5.8s
1/4 mile trap speed: 103mph
If you are okay with the Cadenza's performance numbers, I feel like TLX I4 Tech/Elite A-spec is more comparable.

I m not interested in the dated F30 and that engine, but do you have more details (MSRP, discount, residual, % rate) ?
