Ive had the car for a month and found a few things that surprised me that I found by accident.

- I have a V6 with push button tranny and if the car is in drive, you come to a stop and press the engine stop button, the car shifts automatically to park. (dont know nor want to try this when it is moving). One less thing to do when parking the car

- I have a Samsung S4 Galaxy and if I have it in the same pocket as my remote key, when I grab the door handle, the car does not unlock. Remove the phone and it works as designed. Never had this with my prior cars with same feature.

There have been lots of discoveries scattered over many threads. Here is one not previously reported.

The keyless access remote has a removable key almost exactly like MB. This removable key can be used to lock/unlock the drivers door and the glove box.

There is a switch in the glove box to disable opening the trunk either by the switch, fob, or proximity button. For security purposes you can lock the trunk, lock the glove box and give the valet the remote access key without the detachable key. Unlike the MB, the remote access key has a hole for a tag to be attached.

 

Trying not to sound obnoxious, but the owner's manual and Acura.com has all these little things spread about, listed online. I do admit there is a lot to learn.
