Maintenance Schedule?
Maintenance Schedule?
Where is the link to a maintenance schedule for the TLX? A prepaid maintenance that covers maintenance until 60k would be a ripoff right? I cant seem to find the maintenance required for the mileage until then.
ever since the 1st gen TSX and the third Gen TL, Acura's have been coming with maintenance minders. basically the car will tell you when you need service based off of revs, start stops and some other factors.
yes, a prepaid program is a waste of money.
there isnt any major services until 105k miles.
and you probably havent been to Acura Owners Site | Exclusive Knowledge, Service, & Benefits (link)
where it will literally tell you what I just told you but in a more fancier way.
P.S. most services are oil and filter change with visual inspections of most components.
so, even if you didnt go by the maitenance minder on the car, you probably good to go with just oil changes and maybe a brake pad change every 30k, until you hit the 105k mile mark.
this information is of course for the six cylinder, as the six cylinder runs on a timing belt.
the 4 cylinder runs a timing chain
