Wheel Dilemma - Choosing between 2

Hey everyone! I just joined acurazine and I have a 2012 Black TL w/ TECH Package. I've been trying to decide between two wheels (taking any suggestions on similar ones as well). The pictures are below. Trying to get 19 inch ones.

I want gunmetal or grey wheels, but i'm not sure how they'll look on a black TL.

Avant Garde M310 Dolphin Grey

TSW Nurburgring RF

The Avant's come in 19x8.5 while the TSW's only come in 19x8.
I'm also going to be lowering my car with Eibach springs.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Depends if you want concave or not, I have the same dilema, the only thing is that I chose the M310 over those, eurotek and VMR's, now if I could only get the specs I want.

Many cats have these.
PERSONALLY, I DONT ENJOY BLACK ON BLACK as it seems the details of the rims get lost in the color.

here is my friends ride:

as you can see, his rims are not black but a gunmetal color.

Oh wow they look nice! Yea I don't think i'm a fan of black on black. the gray gives it a nice contrast.

The M310's look nice, some reason carid.com says they won't fit my TL...
Looking at the specs though they seem to fit..

Which VMR's do you have?

Woops...didn't read your message correctly.
so you choose the M310's over the other ones.

Yea I think I would as well...i'm liking them

I agree the grey ones would look better than black. I will give you some advice from personal experience, stay away from the Eibach springs because they messed up my control arms on my 09, get Teins or H&R.

Oh really...interesting...i'll take that note, thanks for the heads up. I've been looking into H&R as well, seems like a lot of people here have done those or the Teins coilovers.

Stupid question here, but do putting custom wheels and lowering the car void my warranty? Someone has probably answered this question before...

I dont think it will void your warranty, also have you looked into ISC N1's instead of H&R, they are sold by excelerate.

^ that does look nice haha. does anyone here have H&R Springs on their FWD TL? I can't seem to find the FWD ones and haven't heard great reviews about Eibach's. Any suggestions on which one to use?!

No....black wheels look best on black cars. It keeps the "theme" going. A little bit of contrast goes a long way!

And you don't need coilovers either-they're more expensive than springs. If you're happy with the ride of your car and just want a simple drop, springs are the way to go. If you want a stiffer ride AND get lowered, the go with coilovers.

I've always liked the Nurburgrings-the Avants are a classy look, indeed.
