So this morning I get a TPM warning and it shows my two front tires are blinking on my display. My pressures are reading 30 all around, am I missing something here are they low at 30 or what. When I bought the car they have always set at 30 and now I get a warning, mind you I just had my coils installed last week. I have 2 con conclusions maybe the height drop is throwing them off or the guys that insatalled them fucked up
In some sort of way. I took a look at the tires and they look fine and the ride feels normal, what could it be.

 

I'm guessing it got a little chilly in the BK this morning.
cooler weather will make the air in your tires contract thus making your tire pressure fluctuate.

 

It was a little cool this morning it was 57 in NYC, Ill keep checking it and see what happens.

 

when the temperature gets cooler, you'll see the tire pressure go down.
by mid day, as it gets warmer, the tire pressure will raise.

I am not sure of the limit on the TPMS for the 4G.
I know on the 3G if the pressure falls below 28psi, it will trigger the warning on the dash.

 

Ahh, That was going to be my next Question, How low would it would be in order to trigger the warning. Thank you sir.

Crank those puppies up to 35 cold / 37 hot and watch your MPG go way up.

 

Mine go from 38 cold and 42 warm.

 

The warning will come on if the tires go, at all below 32 p.s.i.

that's kind of high I would think cold 32 hot 38?.

Problem fixed guys, Raised those pressures up to 36 and no annoying beeping in the the car.

 

Just curious - are the psi's different between FWD/AWD? FWD are 33.

the sticker is displayed there.
and yes, i would think the awd would have a different psi setting.

Also, take in account of which tire you have.
my summer tires dont like anything over 35psi HOT.
I'll start to lose traction
