MDX TPMS doesn't match TL computer program - TPSM Error

So I installed MDX wheels on my car and the TPSM indicator went on as ERROR and I brought it back to the tire shop. The technician said that the TPMS on the MDX wheels doesn't match the computer on the TL.

Does that mean I'll need to buy TL TPMS to calibrate the computer and get rid of the TPMS error?

Also, if I have them redo the mounting to put the new TL sensors will I need to do the tire alignment all over again?

I would hate to see you take the wheels off again.
can you call an Acura dealer to confirm that the MDX TPMS doesnt have to be re-calibrated to the TL's computer?

if not, then yes..you would have to buy TL's TPMS and have them installed.

no, you dont not have to get them re-aligned if you go that route

Open Road Acura of Edison said I need the TL TPMS on the wheels in order to match the computer. Oh well, I'm not paying another $80 to do the labor charges. I'll have to deal with the TPMS light on until the winter comes later this year because I need to deactivate the VSC if I get stuck in snow.

For future reference, where can I get cheap OEM TPMS?

Try eBay... I just purchased an OEM set for 120 bucks.

You may have to poke around for a while though.
