Hello All. I'm going to Powder Coat my 18" Alloy rims on my 4G and was hoping I could get some of your opinions on what Finish to go with. I have a Crystal Black Pearl 4G so I'm going to Powder Coat them Black. Should I go with High Gloss, Semi Gloss, or Matte? Any feedback would be appreciated as this is my first set of wheels I am going to get Powder Coated. Thanks in Advance

 

I have high gloss black on my wheels (aftermarket). I think the high gloss matches the cbp the best. Just my two cents tho.

 

I would go with high gloss also. Don't forget to post pics. =)

 

Exactly what I was leaning towards guys. Thanks for the input. SSG your powdered gloss black Harrows are Vicious!! RJ's rims are sick but at the time I can only afford to powder coat my stock 18's. I'll post some pics in a week or so

If you are going for looks...go glossy...

If you want racing looking wheels/aggressive...go matte...blends in the brake dust...you will never have to clean your wheels again...if it gets nicked or scratch, just spray on matte black...simple fix! Love it!
