Coilover installation cost??

Can anybody tell me what is a reasonable cost for set of coilovers to be installed? Mine should be here Friday. I've called a three places. On quote was 400 + 200 for the alignment, another was 450 but did not have an alignment machine and one place told me 75 bucks an hour and should only take 2-3 hrs?
Does this sound legit or a little high?
Thanks
Guys

I just got mines installed for $180 and my shop got great reviews on Yelp 4.5/5. Reasonable price should be no more than $200. Alignment should be around $80-140 range depending on the drop and shop.

that's what I thought fredster730. I live in Colorado springs. I called a couple of speed shops in Denver just because they had excellent reviews.
The shop that quoted me $75.00 per hour was in Colorado springs but there shop looks like a craphole.. My search will continue. Maybe I can just go to a shop that specializes in suspension??

Damn 200 for an alignment and 400 for install? Who ever is paying that is getting bent over.

Here is what you do, go to the Regions section and post in there, see if anyone knows how to install Coils in your area, buy them some beer, lunch, and give them a hand on the install.

I paid $175 for a lifetime alignment. A coilover install in Sac is about $200.

We typically charge about 4.5 hours of labor (approx. $450), because that's how long we take to get the job done right. We don't cut corners and rush the job to get it done in a couple of hours. We set the spring preload, adjust the damping to the customer preference, and dial in the height to get each corner perfect. We may not be be the cheapest around, but we pride ourselves for doing the best work and doing things right the first time

Found a reputable place to install the coilovers today. There going to charge $300 for the install and $75 for the alignment if needed.
