Brembo??

i have a tech 3.7 sh-awd Tl, and i am looking to replace the OEM rotors and brake pads. The only manufacture that i know is brembo. i am just wondering would they work well on my TL, or is there better ones out on the market.

Currently Brembo is not working with any distributer here on AZ for the 4G. Brembo BBk's are expenpensive and I'm sure there are other, more profitable options. Do a search for BBK.

Very true. Brembo BBK's are very expensive in comparison, and Brembo doesn't always make available the matching rear-brake kits. It'll look kind of odd with a big bright-red Brembo caliper at the front and a smallish brake-dust-blackened OEM caliper at the rear of the car.

I dont believe the OP wanted to change out to a BBK.

I believe he just wanted better rotors and pads.
He only name dropped, because thats the only name he has heard associated with brakes.

OP, When you switch out to a Big Brake Kit, you're changing out the Calipers.
All you want/need is better pads and rotors.

My brembo's are black from the factory. with matching black "smallish" 2 pot caliper in the rear.

Brembo's are not always red.

For maximum braking performance, nothing beats the big brake kits' multi-piston calipers and oversized floating brake discs.

It's all you get what you paid for.

Brembo's are not always red.
Of course, Honda/Acura OEM "rebatched" Brembo's are always black, and are stamped with the "ACURA" logos, not the "BREMBO" logos.

Unfortunately, your ACURA Brembo won't fit the 4G TL's. The 4G TL's have much larger OEM rotors, front and rear.

ON the 3G TL side, several automatic members have taken their 2 pot calipers to the track.
Under hard and constant braking is when they get brake fade.
Normal driving, there is no chance of brake fade.
What I'm trying to say is that, WHy would Acura engineer backwards and use crappy calipers on the 4G?
they wouldnt. Havent driven the 4G, but I'm positive that none of you experience brake fade under normal driving conditions.

The OP isnt asking about BBK's.
your point is moot..

THe OP is simply asking for better rotors and pads.

If that's the case, Rotora and Stop Tech offer rotors.

There is some fade after prolonged hard stops. My RDX is worse, but I had higher hopes for the 4G.

OP, Tirerack stocks PowerSlot rotors and a couple of differnet brake pad sets for the 4G.
