Nice wheels. However, 22" wheels on the TL are just to big for my taste.

They are, but not all products are built the same. Friend from AZ (FWD) noticed the harsh/jarring ride shortly after install, ride kept getting worse, after reinstalling OEM springs he took it to the dealer he leased from, because of the extent of the damage to the struts the dealer suspected some sort of foul play. Friend played dumb and eventually dealer covered it under warranty.
He has under 25k miles on the clock, over past 3yrs and that was on NYC streets; maybe the problem is unique to his car/springs but I've heard nothing but good things about H&R and Tein springs, so why risk it?

Hey heart thanks for using me as an example, eibach plain suck. What they actually did was bent my control arms. The dealer replaced them under warranty and my car still sounds like crap, I'm about to call the dealer and make an service appointment. They are just crappy springs, my take is that those springs are for a race track where the road is perfectly smooth. I'm going to drop the car again in the summer but will be going with Tein or another brand.

Lexani LSS-5's niiiice. Keep us posted on how you like the ride quality over time. I had the LX-10's 20's and after a while they made the car feel funny but then again the streets in N.Y are horrible.
Just one question why did you pick those over the LX-15's or some of the newer style Lexani's?

its funny.... i saw "22" Wheels" in the thread title, and i was prepared to puke
But, it doesn't look bad at all. the key, is having your suspension set right... its when people put 22"s on OEM suspension, that it looks terrible
Eibach, are actually decent product (build quality).. but the ride quality, is very jarring in my opinion.
i had Eibach Sportline (2.5" drop) on my ex's 04 TSX... man, those springs f!@ked up her ride! bottoming out, scraping, busted struts, 2 bad control arms, busted axles.. you name it
If you are OK with the cost, go with the Tein SS... much more comfort, and adjustability.
I really wish a company like Koni or Tokico, will made adjustable/aftermarket shocks for our car... I have H&R springs on my AWD, and it rides fine, but i know that my struts are being worn out much quicker.. I have about 10K with the H&Rs... which is equal to about 20K worth of wear.
Aftermarket springs will wear out OEM suspension components about 2x as fast as OEM springs
HOWEVER-- be prepared for some heartaches... wheel bending, tires going flat/getting bubbles.... 22's are a bit large for the TL... and if you are in a metro area, or a place with poor roads... it will be tough... sometimes you gotta sacrifice... form over function.

When switching to aftermarket springs, it is always best to switch to aftermarket shocks at the same time.
OEM shocks are just not designed for aftermarket lowering springs that carry much higher spring rates.

Big Wheels
I have 18" on 09 sh-awd. Does anyone know the difference (if any) in MPG with 19" or 20" wheels vs 18's? TL-Newbee here so take it easy and please excuse my stupid questions.
