Ventilation Mode will not switch

Ventilation Mode will not switch
The ventilation mode in my 2014 TL seems to be stuck in "Defrost/Floor". I don't hear any change when I push the MODE button and the indicator does not change. I've tried pushing it with AC on & off, fan on lo/med/high. The fan indeed is blowing air onto the windshield and floor but I can't switch it.
I saw a recommendation for an older Accord how to run a self-diagnostic by pushing a series of buttons ... but the controls on my car are different and I couldn't find a similar self-diagnostic for 4G-TL. Anyone know if this is likely a fuse, or module that needs replacement? How-to video? Thanks ... Jeff

what happens in the 3rd gen TL (04-08) is that the blend or mix motor dies.
mine died in regular operation mode (not defrosting mode), and my windshield would fog up and I could never switch it to defrost. Pretty dangerous at night in the winter time.
Acura wanted over $200 for it...and then when I did go to buy...the part was back ordered with no time frame listed...
to ebay I went...scored one for 10-12 bucks...obviously it's a used unit, but it's better than $200 that Acura wanted that they couldnt even provide.
you can even open up this mix motor and clean the contacts to make it work again.

Thanks justn. I haven't been able to find a repair video for my car or one similar enough to it. In your 3G, is access to the mix motor through the glove box? Is it difficult to get at it and get it out?
