Trans flush

I was wondering is it a good idea to do a trans flush? I've heard many of times that shouldn't mess with the trans. What do you guys think? Is it a good idea or bad idea to do the flush?

It depends upon what you mean by flush; if you are talking about draining and refilling the transmission 3 times then go for it. If you are talking about a machine flush in a service department, just say no!

Thank you. Yes, I'm talking about draining it myself.

buy a case of honda dw1 fluid from your local honda dealer (much cheaper than acura most times and case price is cheaper than individual quarts)

depending on what year you have, you can change the external trans filter too.
