TPMS Light on - 2WD 2009 TL base

Hi All,

I upgraded my stock tires and rims to 20" yesterday and wondering if there is any way to take off the TPMS light indicating that there is an issue with tire pressure. Obviously since the sensors are on the stock rims sitting in the garage it is out of sync with the car.

Anyone know? It is starting to annoy me now.

thanks

why don't you put the sensors on the new wheels?

Replacement TPMS sensors are available from tire rack for $164 for a set of 4 if you want to keep your stock rims for use in winter. TPMS is a nice feature, not sure why you would want to disable it...

Just a warning not to install air valve cap made by TVG. Bad things happens when you least expect it! 8(
