Squeaking noise when braking...

Hey guys. I picked a 2009 TL SH-AWD Tech a few weeks ago. Everytime i step on the brake pedal, I hear squeaking noise. Did anyone have this problem before? Is there any way to fix this?

mileage?
check to see if the brake pads are low, or if ur rotors are low.
does the squeaking only happen at certain speeds? does it go away once the brakes are heated up?

I would suspect the pads where changed and no service done to the rotors. How do your pads look? If its time for new pads I would buy new rotors and ceramic pads. I would not waste my money with the factory rotors, they are crap. If you decide to work with factory rotors, have a non directional finish done on them ( after turning). The Heel Toe guy has a nice pad a rotor price.

A brake service can sometimes get rid of brake squeaks, due to accumulation of brake dusts.

Thanks guys for responding back to my post. The mileage is around 38k. According to the dealer, he changed all 4 tires and break pads. That's why I'm so confused why it's still making noise. The thing is I only hear the noise whenever I do light brake. It's not really squeaking. It sounds more like a minor drum hitting. On the other hand, when I do hard brake, the sound would never surface. Please advise...

pulsating grinding-ish noise? if so, it's probably a rotor. low or slightly warped. do you notice any vibrations or pulsing in the steering when u high speed brake?

You are squealing because the rotors where not resurfaced. I alway buy new rotors when I change my pads. Never have any problems with brakes nor do I want any. For what the dealer chagers I can get top quailty rotors and pads online.

Thank you for responding. I took it back to the dealer and it turns out the problem is wheel bearing. They fixed it without charge because I'm still under the warranty. Acura FTW!
