SH - AWD Stripped front wheel stud.

Changed over to my winter wheels and tires and my impact gun ate a wheel stud. I've had no luck finding out the best DIY solution to this, and not feeling too confident riding around with 4 out of 5 nuts holding the wheel on. Anyone have any suggestions for a quality fix?

Sorry - front wheel, driver's side (of course).

Pop off the stud, get a new one and pop it back in.

Wow, if it's that easy, I'd be really happy. Are you saying there is enough clearance to drift the stud out without disassembling the hub while still on the the car? DIY's I've seen for the prior gen look like a major headache. Have you done this on the front of a 4G? Thanks a million for your help!!

The only thing that would be in the way would be the brake heat shield and worst comes to worst, just drill out a hole. (there SHOULD be one already)

No, I haven't done it on a 4G.

2008 Odyssey front stud replacement: Insert

2008 Odyssey front stud replacement: Pull-in
I changed a stud on a 2008 Odyssey and there was notched clearance in the dust shield to remove/install stud.
I haven't done this on a 4G TL but it might be similar.
I placed two box end wrenches on stud and tighten a lug nut to "pull-in" new stud.

Exactly. As usual, Reorge is on the case!
You can use a gun to remove wheel nuts, but never use one to install.

I did have to jack-up the other wheel off the ground so I could turn the hub by hand to line up the stud with notch in dust shield.
And obviously I had to remove the brake caliper and rotor.
