Hey guys,

So reading the repair manual for the TL, it says I have to push in a clip, thus breaking it, when removing the cover for the a-pillar. I'm trying to find replacement parts for the clip, but I'm not sure where to look.

So far I've found this:

If you follow this instruction, you can take off and replace the a-pillar without breaking/replacing that metal tab with green plastic. I've successfully done it a few times myself. Otherwise, yes, Find# 19 on your link is the correct replacement tab to buy.

Yep, that's the right ones.

Even being careful, they will break.

I redid all pillars and roof in alcantara, and those clips just break very easily.

 

Yeah, I requested a quote for the parts from my local place. The website from the first post is quoting me 2.50 for the parts and an insane 12 dollars for shipping!!!
