Possible engine knocking?

i have similar knocking sound on my 2010 TL AWD, 6sp, do you remember which product you used? The picture is not availble in Acurazine anymore.

Ticking noise

Hi guys, I have a 2013 TL SH AWD manual and developed a loud ticking sound between 2000-3000rpms and goes away after 3k or before 2k, problem is cruising is around those rpms and it very loud, it is deff coming from the front head, we pulled off the valve cover and all valve clearance where adjusted according to spec but being it makes no noise at idle it made sense that the valves clearance was still with in spec and engine only having 70K, anyone having this tick at these RPM's?

I have the exact same thing on my 3.5L FWD. I've had it since I purchased it used at 60K. I've had three vehicles with this J-series V6 and have had various valvetrain noises at different conditions. Some on idle, some when cold, some when warmed up. My TL currently only does it once it warms up.

At this point, I'm just ignoring it. None of the three vehicles I've owned have ever consumed oil, experienced any sort of mechanical failure or had reduced mileage or power. I've taken my Pilot which, has been the loudest of them all, and my indy mechanic was unable to find anything wrong. Still did it after a valve adjustment. It has 200K on it but I'm still truckin. I've conceded that it's simply the nature of this motor.

whats mind boggling is how can it not be there at idle and not be there at higher rpms after 3k smh
