Need help identifying a noise

I was hoping if someone knew what the cause of this sound is. I have taken the car to the dealership twice now in the past week to try to fix it with no luck. I will be taking it back tomorrow but i was hoping someone here might know what the problems is bc they cant seem to figure it out. I have a 2012 TL SH-AWD tech with ~25k miles. This noise only happens when i start the car after it has been sitting for 12+ hours and only happens 15 secs to 2 mins after start up and last about 30 secs then goes away. I describe it as a scribbling or a gargling, bellow is a link to the sound on soundcloud.

The dealership has already replaced the alternator belt and the belt tensioner adjuster, also the propeller shaft but that was bc another problem.

Thanks!

never heard anything like that in a car...is this from inside the car? i would assume so since there is no apparent engine noise. where exactly in the car does it seem like it comes from? sounds like bubbles...

It seems to be coming from under the hood possibly drivers side.

Perhaps air (bubbles) trapped in the cooling system?

Sounds a bit like a pigeon? Transmission filter under battery tray... (I think?) Here is the link: https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-problems-fixes-297/weirdest-sound-ive-heard-car-880507/ (near bottom of first page).

The dealerships should be reading acurazine once in a while

Well, at least you got a new belt and tensioner. Those tensioners tend to rust and get the belt out of alignment when it gets too too cold, and make more funny noises. So you got a new one

mine is in there at the dealership right now for the same reason...the same chirping type sound. they said that the sound is coming from a tensioner that is rubbing against the plastic shrouds under the hood from the timing belt is what they are saying...I was finding that it would only happen when I was at a stop and the car was cool...just got my car 2 months ago...so it better be fixed for free...I have full warranty..

ok...so after 5 days of being at the dealership, they called me after me telling them about the tranny fluid filter, and said it was exactly that....so they have the car for one more day. on a bright note, not going to complain about having the SH AWD for a few days and using their gas....lol

it does matter how long they keep it... it was a simple issue and it took an "authorized dealer" 5 days to find the problem!!!! and they were told what the problem was....please...!

Thanks!
Mine just started doing that a month ago. I have the same car, same year with 72000 on it. I had the exact sound from my previuos audi and it couldn't be solved. I hope you figure this out because after the car is warmed up it goes away...tough to have a dealer listen for it unless they keep it overnight.

I left my car at the dealership overnight, went there first thing next morning and went for a drive with a technician(radio off, fan off...) he could hear it loud and clear...the next day car war fixed and ready to go....

they were fine...they gave me a 2014 sh-awd for 5 days on their gas...no complaints....the reason they took so long to find it is they are a small local dealer....they hadn't even heard of this issue here before. oh well no complaints!!! thanks again for the help....if it wasn't for you guys, they would still be looking!

My car does not have the filter (it's a '10) but I'm curious.
Do you know why the filter made that noise?
Is there a drain back valve missing or something, so the fluid drains back to the pan while it sits? Will the new filter do the same thing eventually, or did they redesign it to prevent the drain back?
Thanks for posting about this.
