navi screen problem

My navi screen suddenly doesnt dim when the headlight is turned on or when it is dark out. It just stays bright all the time. I couldnt find any settings or anything to fix the problem. Any ideas?

Check the brightness settings, usually just lowering one notch will reset the function. I think it gets stuck from time to time, happens on a lot of Acura and Honda navis.

I think you are correct. It's stated in the owner's manual that the maximum brightness level also remove the day/light cycle. It makes sense since you want to have the brightest screen as possible and the night view isn't the brightest of them all...
