iPod (MP3) loses volume
My iPod touch, connected through the USB, will stay connected and show the track, songs, etc - but no sound through the speakers. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get sound through the speakers.
anyone having this problem?
PS - I did search and did not get anything.
Thanks

is it the 2nd gen ipod touch? running 3.0 firmware?
I ask because since 3.0 and 2nd ipod touch has stereo bluetooth, and my usually tries to connect to BT before it uses "dock connector". if this is the case, there should be an icon at the bottom of the iphone screen, and you can tap it and change to 'dock connector'
hopefully this is the issue since its the easiest resolved

Thanks Royal - it is 2nd gen, but I have not upgraded.
The connection is good - as the playlists are viewable on the screen and the music is playing on the ipod - just the sound disconnects
