I noticed i started getting some chipping on the grille. Anyone else having this issue. I got an 2009. Is this covered by warranty?

Worth a shot... mine's chipping from the road salt - winter weather type wear.... But I knew that would happen.

 

That is interesting. It almost looks like a split or a crack instead of a chip in that third pic. I have basic small little chips that just come from the hazards of the road but nothing looking like that. Worth a shot to bring it to there attention and see what they say.

 

Just paint it! if a rock hits it good enough, it will chip, lucky it hit your grille and not your hood, but is the issue chipping from improper manufacturing?

 

 

After I bought my car I had notice a tiny buble right on the beak. I figured it would only get worse so I went to the dealer and they replaced it for free and that was when I told them I wanted to have it painted to match the car.
So I don't see why they should replace it for free.
