FYI - Fixing scratched up keys (Tech/Elite/Advance)
For those of you that have beat up TL keys, you can buy the case/blank and just move the electronics over to it. Just go to eBay and search for:
Uncut Replacement Remote Key Fob Shell Case 3+1B for Acura TL ZDX RDX ILX
I also got a smart key cover for both Driver 1 and 2 keys. Again via eBay, search for:
Smart Key Fob Cover Case Jacket Remote For Acura MDX ZDX RDX TLX TSX TL RL
Way back om 2014, I did this but it didn't really hold up....

Lastly, I had my spare cut at the dealer and they use the VIN number to program the cut and the CODE was off so make sure they match after it's been cut. Because of the VIN issue, they needed to upload the new key code of my car via VIN so if I lost my keys out of province, I can could go to any Acura dealer to replace my key which is kinda cool.
