Dull clunk sound ---- What is this pls...

Question

I have an auto AWD advance '013 ... When driving I hear a dull clunk sound when i put my foot slightly on the gas at a about 30 mph ; its coming from the tranny i think

The car is in 3rd or 4th gear ...its like the toque converter is either hesitating or trying to find the right gear ( possibility)

Is this something common with TL's ?

Is this something to be concerned about TL or Acura's ?

thanks

It could be a bad motor mount.

Sounds like the torque converter is shuttering cause by the lock up clutch trying to lock up when it's supposed to..take it to your dealer and have them check for software updates with the HDS and check the condition of your trans fluid. If an update is available make sure they update it and change your trans fluid if it's discolored. If it still does it after that then your gonna need a new torque converter and yes it is a common problem with these TL's. I just finished up a warranty torque converter job Friday on a 12 TL

Awesome I had the same question! Can this also make the car a bit sluggish off the line?
