Hi, maybe someone can chime in to add their experience if anyone has encountered this problem yet. But the weather here in the NE has been extremely low and I have notice that when the car is cold my first initial turn, whether making a left or right turn I hear clicks sounding like a bad axle, but then after the car warms up, that the sounds goes away. And i can rarely duplicate the clicks if I make a turn. My mechanic told me that a couple of 4G's owners are experiencing the same issue. I just thought I should share this with the community. I will continue to monitor it and keep you guys up to date. I have one question. The car is a 2010 FWD with 112k miles. All service up to date and on time.

1. How often are you suppose to change your axles?.

 

When the axle is clearly failing. Axle replacement isn't a preventive maintenance thing.
