Cracked transfercase

So finally had some time and felt good enough to get my tl up in the air an get under the car for a once over and see where a small oil leak is coming from.
the good is everything on this thing looks really good well maintained clean. Everything the previous owner said was done was, clutch timing belt, new brakes all around, starter and more yay.
The bad the oil leak appears to be a small hairline crack on the transfercase where it mate's to the transmission. Question for anyone that has had this appart. How thick is the material. Assuming it is a gasket and not an o-ring seal(havent had a chance to dig into the manual. I doubt a stop leak or anything would help much, it leaves a small puddle under the car over night
Wondering what to expect and how much of a nightmare it would be for a weld repair or if I should just take it appart and try a reinforced jb weld on the Inside.

So finally had some time to dig into the service manual. So it seems more likely that the crack is actually superficial and that is merely a weep hole and it is either the trans output shaft seal or tc input shaft seal. Has anyone had this appart recently that could confirm.

Weird must have done something wrong I did attach a picture not sure why it didn't show up. Anyway ended up tearing into it and it was just the seals I ended up replacing both the transmission output and transfer case input seal and no more leak.
